ALJ Class of 1977

Class Notes

Carol Catalano Pelosi

As for me I am still substitute teaching and running the In School Suspension program at the high school. I love it. Vincent is a freshman in HS and was in the HS play and participated in winter track, he throws the shot put. Victoria is in 6th grade and was on the Middle School tennis team and is also in her school play. Vince and I will also celebrate our 20th anniversary in October.

Jeff Cotrupe

I was a resident of Clark for most of my early life and attended ALJ my freshman year before moving to Alabama for my father's job. I was actually looking for my long-time friend Roy Wolgin, searched on his name, and your ALJ site came up. I have no idea if this page is still current and if you even want to receive messages like this, but if it is and if you do, I'd like to let my friends who graduated from ALJ know where I am and what I've been doing.

I graduated from Virgil Grissom HS (named after one of the three astronauts who died in an early NASA disaster) in Huntsville, Alabama, in 1977, and graduated in 3.5 years from Auburn University in December 1980. Career-wise the attached file pretty much covers it, and I now operate my own LLC. On the personal side I married my wife Joanne (maiden name Heitman, from Effingham, IL), in dual ceremonies, one in Clark, the other in Illinois, in 1983. We lived for seven years in Clark, then seven years in Terre Haute, Indiana, and since then we've lived in Oceanside, California (north of San Diego). We have two daughters: Michelle, 17, a nationally-ranked field hockey player who's about to graduate from Vista HS (Vista, CA), and Heather, 13, who competes at the national level in water polo and who's about to graduate from 8th grade at Roosevelt Middle School (Oceanside).

BTW, if you know where I can reach Roy Wolgin, I'd love to get in touch with him.
